No. The cost is much greater to make a special trip to service one property, and the risks are higher to hit obstacles buried in the snow on a property we are unfamiliar with. We focus on seasonal service rather than one-time snow plowing in Anchorage, which keeps our routes efficient and ensures reliable results for everyone we serve.
Our services begin with 2″ of accumulation. Any time it snows that amount or more at once, we will automatically provide service. You can view official snow totals at FORECAST WEATHER CHANNEL to ensure efficient snow removal in Anchorage. For broader street updates, you can also check Anchorage city snow removal information.
Our monthly and prepay customers will be serviced up to 25 for the same great rate. If a season ever exceeds 25, additional services will be billed at the prorated amount.
Yes, we offer dog waste. Weekly Dog waste cleanup for one dog is $25/visit. Price increases by 50% for each additional dog. This service is completed once a week (on non snow removal days) during the winter months. Dog waste is bagged and hauled away with this service.
City crews focus on public roads, while our service is for residential driveways and private properties. Unlike Anchorage city snow removal, we guarantee your driveway is cleared after every qualifying snowfall.
We stay about 2′ away from garage doors and buildings. We also stay about 2′ away from vehicles parked in driveways.

Yes! This service is available for an additional cost. We offer both a city sidewalk service and a front entryway shovel service called our “Detail Service” Please note these add-on services are completed by separate crews and are done after the driveway tractors come through. Our focus is on getting your driveway cleared as quickly and efficiently as possible.
It is the responsibility of the home owner to make sure that if any water valve caps are protruding in the driveway to contact the City to have them lowered. You will need to request that they send a service technician by to lower the pipe and cap to the level of the driveway. If the cap is not flush with the level of the driveway it may very likely get picked off and blown onto the lawn. So, please make sure that the city takes care of this in advance of the first snow. If the cap isn’t flush with the driveway, it may be damaged during service, and the Municipality of Anchorage snow plowing crews could charge for repairs later.
No. The compact tractor and blower will not crack your asphalt or concrete. Although it looks large the weight of the machine is evenly distributed over the extra large surface area of its tires, so that there is actually more weight per square inch being applied to your asphalt by your own car than by our tractors! And, our drivers are trained to lower their blowers in a controlled manner so that unnecessary jolts to the asphalt by the blower are minimized during the snow blowing process. Furthermore, driveway markers are installed on the edges of your driveway to identify the boundaries of the driveway so that the drivers do not drive on your grass. Snow blowing with a tractor is one of the best methods in the industry at the moment for clearing snow from your driveway! It’s one of the reasons our Alaska snow removal Anchorage service is trusted by local homeowners.
For snow plowing Anchorage homes with steep grades, tight turns, or unusual layouts, we recommend noting these on your intake form so our crews can plan the safest and most efficient service.
No, our drivers are trained to work around them. However we will not clear the areas inaccessible because of the car. If you expect to have a car on the driveway when we arrive we recommend that you make sure to place it as close to the top and side of the driveway as possible to allow the driver maximum accessibility, or to move it onto the street if possible. One thing to remember is that if a car is blocking your driveway and we are unable to service the drive, if you want us to make a return trip after the car is moved there will be an additional cost.
*Please note, for the sake of efficiency, our drivers do not get out of their tractors and knock on your door to get you to move your vehicle(s). Our drivers also can not wait for you to move your vehicle if you try to run out while we are there.
Yes, we carry General Liability policy, as well as Commercial Auto. We also have Workers Compensation, and pay all applicable taxes required of a company with employees. We strongly suggest you only hire a fully insured company when you need snow removal in Anchorage AK.
Not directly. City plows may leave berms at the end of driveways, but our crews return quickly to clear them. Our service ensures your property stays accessible regardless of Municipality of Anchorage snow plowing schedules.
